EUROPEWIDE IDENTIFICATION OF POWER PLANTS AND STORAGE DEVICES

The ambitious conversion of electricity and heat production from fossil (and partly nuclear) to renewable energy sources, as stipulated by the EU and supported by the Member States, is generating significant demand in this area.

Generation Plant Types

Oxford Energy puts the focus on the following generation plant types in this segment:

– Photovoltaic Plants

– Wind Power Plants

– Water Power Plants

– Biomass and Biogas Plants

– Geothermal Plants

Energy Storage Devices

Where appropriate, energy storage can also be identified and contracted either standalone or in combination with renewables power plants. The focus here is on the classic Li-ion (battery) storage, while redox flow storage is of growing importance. The technical development and commercial suitability of other energy storage systems (such as compressed air) is also being evaluated on an ongoing basis.
